History of Sabah

Sejarah Sabah

Sabah is one of 13 states in Malaysia and is the second largest state in Malaysia after Sarawak, which is located in the north of the island of Borneo, the third largest island in the world.

Despite the
status as one of the states in Malaysia that is recognized internationally, Filipinos are very active lay claim to the eastern part of Sabah, Malaysia has rejected it as a "non-issue".
Capital of Sabah is Kota Kinabalu, formerly known as Jesselton. Sabah is often referred to as the
"Land
Below the Wind" because the position is very strategic land downwind monsoon.
