The Malays in Borneo were The Laut ( The Islamic Dayak )
Surau Dayak Islam-1929
( Bakumpai- Kalimantan Selatan )
The golden age of the Malay sultanates in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo saw many of their inhabitants, particularly from various tribal communities like the Batak, Dayak, Orang Asli and the Orang laut become subject to Islamisation and Malayisation.Today, some Malays have recent forbears from other parts of Maritime Southeast Asia, termed as anak dagang ("traders") and who predominantly consist of Javanese people, Bugis, Minangkabau people and Acehnese peoples, while some are also descended from more recent immigrants from other countries.
Although Muslims had passed through the Malay Peninsula
as early as the 10th century, it was not until the 14th and 15th
centuries that Islam first firmly established itself. The adoption of
Islam by the 15th century saw the rise of a number of sultanates, the
most prominent of which was the Malacca. Islam has had a profound influence on the Malay people, but has also been influenced by them. The Portuguese were the first European colonial powers to establish themselves on the Malay Peninsula and Southeast Asia,
capturing Malacca in 1511, followed by the Dutch in 1641. However, it
was the British who, after initially establishing bases at Jesselton, Kuching, Penang and Singapore, ultimately secured their hegemony across the territory that is now Malaysia. The Anglo-Dutch Treaty of 1824 defined the boundaries between British Malaya and the Netherlands East Indies
(which became Indonesia). A fourth phase of foreign influence was
immigration of Chinese and Indian workers to meet the needs of the
colonial economy created by the British in the Malay Peninsula and
Borneo.

The firmness of a nation is not only measured by its armed forces-but the level of welfare.
The Firmness of a nation is not only measured by its armed forces-but the level of welfare.
Events in the construction of the tower by a Malaysian in Tanjung Datuk - Datuk cape early May 2014; and the Indonesian responded by building military bases is an emotional act.
If we speak of nationalism residents of West Kalimantan; jakarta-central government should pay attention to the welfare of the citizens of the border. because the citizens of Indonesia and Eastern Malaysia are the families of Dayak Tribe as: (Iban, Bidayuh, Salako, Kenyah village etc).
For Development of a military base is not a wise solution; firmness of a nation is not only measured by its armed forces-but the level of welfare.

"The government should evaluate the current condition of the carrying capacity of land and 1,806,172 hectares of forest border, covering an area of 143,804 hectares Sanggau," said the Deputy President of the National Assembly Dayak Customary (MADN) BL Atan Palil
National Dayak Customary Council (MADN) asking the Central Government in this case the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration and West Kalimantan Provincial Government and the governments ─ Sanggau to review the placement plan 4000 Patriarch transmigration along the border region and the District Malaysia.
"The government should evaluate the current condition of the carrying capacity of land and 1,806,172 hectares of forest border, covering an area of 143,804 hectares Sanggau," said the Deputy President of the National Assembly Dayak Customary (MADN) BL Atan Palil in Pontianak on a number of reporters, Tuesday 12 Maretr 2013.
According to him, the current population of West Kalimantan Border around 2.3 million, and the number of residents in the District Sekayam and Kecmatan Entikong about 85 thousand inhabitants. The presence of 7 companies HPH / IUPHHK, 3 companies IUHHK HT and 5 existing oil companies.
"It should be evaluated transmigration program that ever existed in 1986 as many as 478 families on Sungai Dangin," he said.
Most of the area along the border is a conservation area of protected forest, production forest, and a small area of other uses. "Transmigration placement plan will affect ecologically against these areas," he said.
Described by him, potential forest encroachers will semajin, considering the potential of the wood is still very large. This damage will have an impact on local communities for generations to live in the surrounding forest and get the benefits.
Pressure on the size of the carrying capacity of the land due to human activities with the placement of 4000 kk transmigration also potentially create a conflict of interest that land.
"Local communities are very squeezed by the development of oil palm plantations and timber estates in the area of other uses. Plans activities that require space / transmigration areas such as this, should pay attention to the pattern of land use contained in the provincial spatial plan," he explained.
Environmental sustainability of natural resources, the richness of the local culture and local wisdom impossible not be eroded by the placement of transmigration. Coercion program development with top-down pattern should be abandoned and it is not to be done again, and the bottom-up development patterns will be more touching and real people answer the question.
"We all agreed, the development was aimed at the welfare and berkesinaambungan, not destroy especially the marginalized local communities," said Atan Palil.
Described by him, if the current conditions related to human resources, natural resources, socio-economic and cultural distinction dicermti not right, then top-down policies that tend to impose, can menimbulkaan new problems for the existence of indigenous peoples and the border area that has been agreed as a terrace Homeland.
In accordance MADN study, the percentage of the main problems in the area of West Kalimantan-Malaysia border along the 748 KM, the largest low government support empowerment in natural resource sectors, such as agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, and forestry.
Following the lack of support in the sector empowerment pemerintaah natural resources, and human resources, he said, reinforced by the very lack of infrastructure, the economy, such as transport, communication, information, and banking.
"Until now, a reflection of the border area as a terrace NKRI not equivalent to treatment with a terrace in the Malaysia border," he remembers anymore.
MADN also expect the government to take steps strategic improvements, especially in the District and other border areas, before performing actions that could lead to the perception antagonisprovokatif and feedback can be detrimental to the government at a later date.
"All stakeholders have agreed that the border area is a patio Homeland, but in doing the action on the field turns dominam prominent sectoral ego, so that rural communities will continue to be depressed and have always been victims of any development activities," he said.
There have been many research results of scientists from various disciplines and other technical agencies recommend that in an era of peace, the government's approach is properity, social-sucurity and equality of access to the border economy.
RTRWP Kalbar not final, and the imposition of inididuga transmigration program will have an impact on the balance of the load carrying capacity and natural resources and existing skosistem.
"We hope that the development activities in the border pro-people, pro-poor and pro border will be far from the truth," he said.

Kaji Ulang Prorgam Transmigrasi di Kalimantan Barat
Deputy Presiden MADN BL Atan Palil (baju merah)
"Pemerintah seharusnya mengevaluasi kondisi
terkini daya dukung lahan dan kawasan hutan perbatasan 1.806.172 hektar,
Sanggau seluas 143.804 hektar," ujar Deputy Presiden Mejelis Adat
Dayak Nasional (MADN) BL Atan Palil

The use of Java's doctrine in managing NKRI and look as opposed to non-Java.
"Nglurug tanpa bala,
menang tanpa ngasorake"
" To fight without troops and win without defeating"
This fact is used to manage NKRI by Java elite-as if the non-Java is an enemy that must be defeated.
facts:
1). Cleaning the PKI in Borneo
(Using hand of Dayak);
2). The removal of Sukarno by Suharto used by TNI

Fakta:
1). Pembersihan PKI di Borneo
( menggunakan tangan Dayak );
2). Penyingkiran Sukarno oleh Suharto menggunakan
TNI dengan dalih pro KOMUNIS;
3). Kasus konflik Kubar / Kutim menggunakan Bugis
sebagai media;
4). Konflik Dayak >< Madura
( juga kepentingan Jawa );
5). Pengelolaan SDA luar jawa
( awalnya menggunakan non Jawa, selanjutnnya
dilanjutkan dengan orang Jawa )
