Borneo Caucus Demand Justice
Until now Central Government seriously considered not care and build Kalimantan. Natural resources continue to be dredged Kalimantan, but the development is still lagging behind compared to other home. Therefore Caucus Kalimantan Regional Representative Council (DPD) RI demand justice, welfare and autonomy to the central government.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Caucus Kalimantan DPD, H Hamdhani in a release received Kalteng Post editor, on Tuesday (12/3). According Hamdhani efforts for justice is reflected in the attitude of a number of provinces that the rejection of the builders made by the Central Government.
In South Kalimantan through Perdul Forum Banua ever going to do a big rally. In Kalimantan appears refusal rail projects of the central government. In West Kalimantan and East Kalimantan coming under pressure to stop the mining and petroleum as assessing the outcome is unfair, says Hamdhani.
Caucus DPD Borneo states there is no way to overcome this prolem except the Central Government should seriously follow up the problem of the island of Borneo at the moment. One of the best way is to accelerate the development of Kalimantan. Soon there to increase central government policy development of Borneo.
DPD Borneo Caucus, urged the central government in order to enlarge the Regional Transfer Funds to four provinces in Kalimantan. Funds are urgently needed to improve the existing infrastructure and realize the connection between the inter-provincial and Central Kalimantan and West Kalimantan nexus point of the four provinces, said Hamdhani DPD's Central Kalimantan origin.
Indeed, the problems and demands of the people of Kalimantan has not been as severe as that conducted by the Papua and Aceh Darussalam many casualties and property. However, if these issues are not anticipated by the Central Government will be more severe predicted condition of Papua and Aceh. Sampai sekarang Pemerintah Pusat dinilai belum peduli dan serius membangun Kalimantan. Kekayaan alam Kalimantan terus dikeruk, namun pembangunan masih tertinggal di banding pulang lain. Karena itu Kaukus Kalimantan Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) RI menuntut keadilan, kesejahteraan dan otonomi khusus kepada Pemerintah Pusat. Demikian disampaikan oleh Ketua Kaukus Kalimantan DPD RI, H Hamdhani dalam rilisnya yang diterima redaksi Kalteng Pos, Selasa (12/3).
Menurut Hamdhani upaya menuntut keadilan itu tercermin dari sikap sejumlah provinsi yang melakukan penolakan terhadap pembangun yang dibuat oleh Pemerintah Pusat. �Di Kalsel melalui Forum Perdul Banua pernah akan melakukan aksi besar-besaran. Di Kalteng muncul sikap penolakan proyek rel kereta api dari Pemerintah Pusat. Di Kalbar dan Kaltim muncul desakan untuk menyetop pertambangan dan minyak bumi karena menilai bagi hasilnya tidak adil,� ujar Hamdhani. Kaukus Kalimantan DPD RI menyatakan tidak ada jalan mengatasi masalahini lain kecuali Pemerintah Pusat harus serius menindaklanjuti problema Pulau Kalimantan saat ini.
Salah satu jalan yang terbaik adalah melakukan percepatan pembangunan Kalimantan. Segera ada kebijakan politik Pemerintah Pusat untukpercepatan pembangunan Kalimantan. �Kaukus Kalimantan DPD RI, mendesak kepada Pemerintah Pusat agar memperbesar Dana Transfer Daerah kepada empat Provinsi di Kalimantan. Dana tersebut sangat diperlukan untuk memperbaiki infrastruktur yang ada serta merealisasikan tersambungnya jalan antar provinsi Kalimantan Tengah dan Kalimantan Barat dan terkoneksinya jalur perhubungan dari empat provinsi ini,� tandas Hamdhani anggota DPD asal Kalteng ini. Memang permasalahan dan tuntutan masyarakat Kalimantan belum separah yang dilakukan oleh daerah Papua dan Aceh Darussalam yang banyak memakan korban jiwa dan harta benda.
Namun, apabila permasalahan ini tidak diantisipasi oleh Pemerintah Pusat maka akan diprediksi kondisinya akan lebih parah dari Papua dan Aceh. Kalimantan memang memiliki masyarakat cukup sabar, mengingat sudah puluhan tahun menanti dan menunggu kesejahteraan dan pembangunan daerahnya, walaupun sumber daya alam satu-satunya kekakayaan alam yang dimiliki sudah dikeruk habis-habisan, tapi masih tetap sabar. �Kesabaran dan ketabahan itu ada batasnya maka apabila sudah kelewatbatas pasti akan teriak,� pungkas Hamdhani.
